Tutoring Services
In addition to leading courses, our instructors tutor students--after school and on weekends--in support of classes taken at other middle schools, high schools, and community colleges. Attend class at our Los Altos campus, or connect with our teachers online, using Skype.
Your tutorial program begins with an assessment of your academic strengths and challenges, as we help you to set and achieve measurable goals. With respect to a student's specific needs, our teachers encourage the development of executive functioning and effective: study habits, organization, time management, and test-taking skills. We also offer college counseling, college application essay-writing assistance, and one-to-one standardized test preparation.
We offer our students a complimentary drop-in study hall, open all day. We encourage you to use our classrooms and computers to study, even when you're not meeting with your tutor. Our teachers are on-call during study hall, and are happy to answer your questions, free of charge. We like to be here.
