Standardized Test Preparation
Our instructors tutor students, after school and on weekends, for standardized tests such as the SAT, PSAT, SAT II Subject Tests, ACT, AP Exams, CAHSEE, CHSPE, ISEE, SSAT, ELM, and EPT. We also prepare students to take independent-study BYU exams, and help students at community colleges prepare for final exams.
As we’re a registered College Board and BYU test center, students may take SAT (SSD), AP, CLEP, and BYU exams at our campus. Our students find it comforting to take standardized exams in a familiar setting, proctored by a familiar face.
Unlike academic tutoring, our one-to-one test-prep program has a single goal in mind: to help you achieve your highest possible test scores. Effective test preparation hinges on the concept that correctable issues prevent you from reaching your potential. Students learn to take control of the exam by predicting and recognizing familiar question structures. Students master test content and time management.
To all prospective and current test-prep students, we offer complimentary diagnostic exams, scheduled at each student’s convenience. We encourage you to take a diagnostic exam before your first lesson. Each diagnostic exam is timed by an experienced proctor to ensure an authentic testing experience, to yield realistic test scores. Our tutors use exam results to customize your test prep program.
To complement our test-prep program, we offer college counseling and assist students as they write college admissions essays.
