We take a different approach to meeting every student's health and fitness goals, as we help students earn physical education credit in ways that add real value to everyday life.
In an initial consultation with a SIL Director, a student maps out a customized health and fitness plan, with a focus on cultivating healthy mental and physical habits while breaking old patterns that aren't helping.
Students earn required physical education credit -- tranferrable to other high schools -- for supervised activites such as workouts with trainers, soccer practice, yoga and pilates classes, dancing, horseback riding, rock climbing, running, skating, skiing, hula hooping, or just about anything else that gets your heart rate up.
